Atlantic 10 Conference: Named Virginia Tech's Dawn Will (Dulaney) women's lacrosse Player of the Year and Duquesne's Lauren Mincher (Annapolis) Co-Rookie of the Year.

Barton College: Announced signing of a national letter of intent by Jon Traylor (Severna Park) to play men's soccer.

Goucher College: Recognized top athletes: Senior basketball player Tavar Witherspoon (Calvert Hall), junior cross country runner Jeff Olenick (Centennial), sophomore cross country runner Alison Healey (Catholic), sophomore lacrosse player Lauren Manckin (Park), senior volleyball player Kim Opdyke (Perry Hall) and freshman track and field runner Jennifer McCulley (Urbana).
