Today's games

No.6 Johns Hopkins (7-3) at No.3 Loyola (11-1)

Site: Curley Field

Time: 1 p.m.

TV/Radio: Ch.2/WJFK (1300 AM), WKDB (1570 AM)

Skinny: By taking either Dan Denihan or A.J. Haugen out of the game, the Greyhounds should be able to neutralize Hopkins' offense. The Greyhounds are the country's hottest offensive team. Superb efforts from Hopkins goalie Brian Carcaterra and faceoff man Eric Wedin could keep them down. But it's unlikely.

No.7 Maryland (9-4) at UMBC (7-6)

Site: UMBC Stadium

Time: 2 p.m.

Radio: WMUC (88.1 FM)

Skinny: The Terps revisit the opponent that ruined their ninth consecutive NCAA tournament bid by upsetting them in last year's regular-season finale. UMBC, which is rebuilding, has won two straight and is over .500 for the first time this season. But Maryland should make its 24th NCAA tournament on a winning note.
