Yankees update

The Orioles run into a club that has won four in a row and seven of 10 to give itself a little room atop the American League East. The Yankees rallied from a 5-1 deficit in the seventh inning to complete a sweep of the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday. New York relievers have allowed only five earned runs in their last 37 1/3 innings spanning 12 games. They also haven't surrendered a home run in their last 38 1/3 innings. They're the only unit in baseball without a loss, and the first in major-league history to go undefeated in April. Closer Mariano Rivera hasn't been quite as untouchable as in past seasons, but he has accumulated 10 saves to fall only two short of tying Sparky Lyle for third place on the Yankees' all-time list with 141. Shortstop Derek Jeter has reached base in 25 of 26 games, hitting safely in 21. The Yankees are 13-1 when they score first and 13-0 when leading after six innings.
