Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Shooting: A man, 19, of the 100 block of N. Bradford St. was in the first block of N. Patterson Park Ave. about 12: 40 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman demanded his money. Before the victim responded, the gunman shot him in the left thigh and fled. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Eastern District

Shooting: A man, 27, was sitting on the front steps of a house in the 1000 block of N. Wolfe St. about 1: 30 a.m. Tuesday when another man shot him in the back and arm. The gunman fled. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Robbery/arrest: A man, 28, from Severn was in the 1400 block of Orleans St. about 1 a.m. Tuesday when a woman cut him on the face and neck with a box cutter and robbed him of $25. Renee Baytop, 30, of the 200 block of Dallas Court was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and robbery.

Southwestern District

Gun stolen: A 9 mm Model 669 Smith & Wesson semiautomatic handgun was stolen Tuesday from a 1990 Toyota Celica parked in the 4400 block of Adelle Terrace.

Northern District

Burglary: Tools and a compact disc player, all valued at $800, were stolen Tuesday from a garage in the 2900 block of N. Calvert St.

Burglary: A couch and love seat, all valued at $1,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3500 block of Elm Ave.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A woman forced her way into a house in the 10000 block of Red Line Road about 11 a.m. Tuesday and robbed the 72-year-old male resident of more than $100.

Burglary: Somene entered a county Department of Recreation and Parks concession stand at Elmwood Elementary School in the 500 block of Dale Ave. between Saturday and Monday and stole soft drinks and candy.

Essex Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, forced their way into a house in the 1600 block of Hopewell Ave. about 4: 25 p.m. Tuesday and robbed three female occupants of a total of $300.

Robbery: A man, 32, was in the 1600 block of Rickenbacker Road about 7 p.m. Tuesday when a man sprayed him in the face with a chemical irritant and robbed him of more than $50.

Robbery try: About 2: 20 a.m. Tuesday, a woman with a handgun tucked into the waistband of her slacks ordered an employee at Dunkin Donuts in the 1600 block of Eastern Blvd. to open the cash register. The woman fled for no apparent reason in a black and green Jeep Cherokee.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Coin-operated clothes washers and clothes dryers were removed from the laundry room of an apartment building in the 6600 block of Collinsdale Road at the Villages of Tall Trees between April 20 and Tuesday and carried to a vacant apartment, where the quarters were removed.

For the record

Arrest: Michael Adrian Guye Jr., 25, was arrested at home yesterday by city, county and federal agents on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the death of Arnold Jennings Jr. Jennings, 28, of the 8300 block of Tapu Court, Baltimore County, was shot Feb. 26 in the 2400 block of Aisquith St. in Baltimore. Guye, of the 4600 block of Sherwood Mills Road in Owings Mills, was being held without bond at Central Booking and Intake Center. A motive was unknown.
