'Art of Living Well' Expo

Enhance your lifestyle tomorrow through Sunday at "The Art of Living Well" Expo in Cambridge.

Examine fine arts and crafts, receive tips on landscaping, home decorating and entertaining, and learn about culinary and floral arts. You can also watch demonstrations, attend seminars, listen to a variety of speakers, take a kitchen tour of selected Dorchester County homes and sample gourmet treats at the food court. And, you can discover parts of Maryland's Eastern Shore by visiting the Blackwater Refuge, sailing on the Nathan of Dorchester skipjack, touring the Richardson and Brannock Maritime Museums and other regional points of interest.

The Expo is held at Sailwinds Park, overlooking the Choptank River. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 a day, $20 for a three-day pass and $25 for a three-day family pass. Separate tickets required for some events. Call 410-228-7782.

Folk art, crafts, antiques in York

About 120 artisans and master craftspeople from across the country, many of them using traditional techniques to preserve history, will offer their ware at the York Folk Art & Crafts Show this weekend at the York Fairgrounds in York, Pa. Visitors will not only browse through an array of decorative and collectible arts, they will also meet and chat with the artists and view demonstrations.

The Spring Antiques Show at York, showcasing 18th-, 19th- and 20th-century furniture, primitives, textiles, clocks, jewelry, decorative art and collectibles by more than 50 dealers, is held concurrently with the folk art show.

Hours for both shows are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. One-price admission for both shows is $7 tomorrow, $6 Saturday and Sunday. Call 717-796-2380.
