The Arc of Howard County has launched a $1.9 million capital campaign to renovate and expand its facility on Homewood Road in Ellicott City.
State and county officials have committed $1.5 million to the campaign.
The organization, which provides services to more than 1,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities and to their families, is one of the county's largest employers.
