New positions

Live Baltimore appoints Alexander as manager

Live Baltimore Marketing Center appointed Kathleen Alexander as corporate manager for its "Live near your work" program.

She is working to expand employer participation in the in-city residence program, which provides a minimum $3,000 toward the purchase of a home in designated Baltimore neighborhoods.

Formerly the head of her own public relations and events planning agency, the College of Notre Dame graduate is a resident of North Baltimore.

Adelberg, Rudow hires

McKinney as firm member

Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf, Hendler & Sameth added J. Andrew McKinney Jr. as a member of the Baltimore law firm. The Catholic University of America law graduate will focus on intellectual property, trademark, copyright and patent law.

A resident of Severna Park, he is a member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Maryland and Anne Arundel County bar associations.

Kozak, Wineholt, Villani hired by Gilden

Gilden Advertising of Roland Park hired Jennifer Kozak as senior graphic designer, Anne Wineholt as account supervisor and Megan L. Villani as an account executive.

Kozak, formerly with Cornerstone Advertising, is a graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She has won several awards and resides in Towson.

Wineholt, a journalism graduate of West Virginia University, lives in Timonium and was previously with Callahan & Co. Marketing Communications.

Villani, a Baltimore resident, graduated from Bucknell University and was previously with Gray, Kirk/VanSant.

Turning Point chooses

Shubiak as director

Turning Point Inc. named Peter Shubiak as director of the Hagerstown-based affiliate of the Sheppard Pratt Health System. He oversees daily operations, planning and community relations for the mental health rehabilitation facility. A graduate of the University of Maryland, the New Market resident was formerly chief operating officer of Way Station, another Sheppard affiliate in Frederick.
