The Joseph Center: Computer classes are now being offered in word processing, printing and Internet as well. At 430 S. Broadway. Call 410-732-5000.

Overlea Fullerton Senior Center: At 2 p.m. Thursdays: Line dance classes. $1 a class. At 4314 Fullerton Ave. Call 410-887-5220.

Pikesville Senior Center: Bicycle rides are offered for seniors on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the Maryland/ Delaware region, starting at various locations. Call 410-887-1245.

Countyride available: Baltimore County Department of Aging's transportation service is available to seniors in need of rides. Must be registered. For information, call 410-887-2080.

Volunteers wanted: "PEERS: Seniors in Partnership" is seeking volunteers ages 52 and older, to make weekly phone calls or visits to senior citizens in Baltimore. Call 410-337-3704.

Volunteers wanted: The Baltimore County Department of Aging is seeking volunteers to help improve the attendance of chronic truants in Baltimore County Public Schools, by calling the school daily to check that students are in attendance, making follow-up calls to parents and checking on absences. Volunteers are also sought for tutoring and reading to students. And, volunteers are sought to work for Medbank, an organization that assists in providing medication to the poor and needy. Volunteers would help in filling out patients' paperwork. All volunteer opportunities are for ages 55 and older. Call 410-887-2059.

"Operation TRIAD": Telephone Reassurance Information Auto Dial is a cooperative effort of the Department of Aging, Police Department and Sheriff's Office that alerts registered seniors about crimes that have been committed in their community. Seniors can register by filling out cards available at Baltimore County senior centers and libraries. Call 410-887-2594 for more information.

Senior job seekers wanted: If you're 55 or older, a Baltimore County resident and interested in working 20 hours a week, the Baltimore County Department of Aging is looking to place you in a job. Applicants must meet income and eligibility requirements. Jobs will be in a federally funded community service program. Pay is $5.15 an hour. Call 410-887-4006.
