Wilson trilogy

It may still be April, but it's July at Everyman Theatre, where Lanford Wilson's "5th of July" begins previews Wednesday, with the opening scheduled for April 28.

Part of Wilson's trilogy about the fictitious Talley family, the play takes place over the July 4 weekend in Lebanon, Mo., as family members gather and consider selling their ancestral home. Everyman's production is directed by Vincent Lancisi and features a cast headed by Timmy Ray James, Kyle Prue, Celeste Lawson and Vivienne Shub.

Show times at Everyman, 1727 N. Charles St., are 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and 2: 30 p.m. Sundays, through May 21. Tickets are $15, except for the pay-what-you-can previews on April 26 and 27. Call 410-752-2208.
