Road improvements to begin on Carroll Street

Westminster has contracted with Gray & Son Inc. of Butler to mill and overlay the surface of Carroll Street between West Main Street and the city limits.

Work is scheduled to begin this week. Traffic flow and access to driveways and parking lots will be maintained through flagging operations during construction.

On-street parking will be temporarily eliminated during construction. The project should be completed in two to three weeks.

Westminster: An employee of SAIC on Airport Drive told police April 10 that someone took a winch from his vehicle. Loss was put at $590.90.

Westminster: A resident of West Main Street told police Wednesday that property was stolen from his vehicle. Loss was estimated at $130.

Westminster: A resident of West Main Street told police Wednesday that property was stolen from his vehicle. Loss was estimated at $250.

Westminster: A resident of West Main Street told police Thursday that a garage window was damaged at her home. Damage was estimated at $150.

Fire

Westminster: Firefighters responded at 6: 13 p.m. Thursday to a trash fire in the 100 block of John St. Units were out 19 minutes.
