Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Arrest: A man wanted for a shooting was arrested at his home Thursday evening. Detective Valencia Vaughn said Eric Jupiter, 20, of the 100 block of N. Payson St. was charged in warrants with attempted murder and a handgun violation in the April 6 shooting of Jye Miles, 22, in the 200 block of N. Payson St. Miles, of the 2100 block of W. Baltimore St., was shot in the left knee. A motive was unknown, Vaughn said.

Central District

Theft/arrest: A cellular phone, purse, wallet and cash, all valued at more than $100, were stolen Saturday from a 1993 Honda in the 200 block of Water St. A man, 36, who lives in the 2700 block of Chesterfield Ave., was arrested and charged in the incident.

Robbery: Two men assaulted another man Friday in the 100 block of E. Saratoga St. and robbed him of $100. The victim, who suffered a broken right ankle, was driven home by his attackers.

Eastern District

Shooting: A man, 21, and a woman, 45, were sitting on the front steps of adjoining houses in the 1600 block of N. Durham St. about 10 a.m. Friday when someone fired shots, hitting the man in the right foot and grazing the woman's right leg. The man was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the woman was treated at the scene. Nearby, police found six shell casings and one bullet. It was not known whether either was the intended victim. No arrest had been made.

Robbery: A man in a wheelchair was in the 1300 block of Bonaparte Ave. about 9 p.m. Friday when a man placed a hard object to his neck and robbed him of a book bag containing a wallet, cash and a cellular phone, all valued at nearly $100.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed a woman, 19, of more than $100 about 7 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of Reisterstown Road.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Theft: Two screw guns and a hammer drill, all valued at more than $700, were stolen Saturday from a 1999 Dodge Ram parked in the 8000 block of Philadelphia Road.

Theft/arrest: A Parkville man, 31, was arrested Saturday when he tried to leave the Best Buy store in the 5200 block of Campbell Blvd. without paying for video games valued at $200.
