David Julian takes post at Downtown Partnership

Downtown Partnership of Baltimore has appointed David Julian director of investor relations. He is responsible for fostering relations with corporate members, developing and implementing fund-raising strategies and expanding business, foundation and community group relations. He previously was with Colliers Pinkard.


Bradford Wills president,

COO at Wills & Associates

Wills & Associates named Bradford C. Wills president and chief operating officer of the Baltimore public affairs and communications firm. He replaces George S. Wills, his father and the firm's founder, who becomes chairman and chief executive officer.

Bradford Wills, a graduate of Hobart College, taught English to business executives in Taiwan before joining the firm in 1993. A board member of Washington's Opera Camerata, he lives in Bethesda with his wife and daughter.

Alex Katz, Tim Hoppin join Campbell Group

The Campbell Group hired Alex Katz as an account executive and Tim Hoppin as a copywriter for the Baltimore marketing communications agency. Katz , a Baltimore resident and graduate of Dartmouth College, formerly was an account coordinator for Trahan, Burden & Charles. Hoppin, from the Chicago firm of Leo Burnett USA, is a graduate of the University of Colorado and the Miami Ad School.

1st Mariner names Gast senior vice president

1st Mariner Bank hired James A Gast as senior vice president for administration and legal affairs. A law graduate of the University of Baltimore, he supervises legal, compliance, human resources, real estate and vendor relations.

Before joining the Baltimore financial institution, the Timonium resident was vice president of Chesapeake Motorsports Development Corp.
