April 16, 2000

Baltimore police yesterday were investigating the death of a 19-year-old man who was found stabbed several times in the chest after an argument in a house in the 3900 block of Edgewood Ave. in West Baltimore.

Tavon Rice, who police said was a Northwest Baltimore resident, was taken to Sinai Hospital, where he died early yesterday. Another man, Damien Green, 22, also suffered stab wounds in the fight, and was treated at the hospital and released.

Investigators had not made any arrests as of last night. They described the incident as a neighborhood dispute.
