Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 600 block of S. Wolfe St. through the front door Tuesday and stole gold jewelry, stereo equipment and cash, all valued at more than $500.

Southern District

Stabbing/arrest: Two men were fighting in the 500 block of Scott St. Monday night when the girlfriend of one of them got a steak knife from her house and stabbed the other man in the neck and right leg. The wounded man was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center. Sherry Birmingham, 22, of the 500 block of Scott St. was charged with aggravated assault.

Stabbing/arrest: Three men were drinking and gambling in a house in the 2300 block of Norfolk St. about midnight Monday when an altercation broke out and one of the gamblers stabbed a man, 42, in the left arm with a screwdriver and cut the other man, 32, on the face. Harley Harris, 42, of the 2400 block of Wilgray Court was charged with aggravated assault.

Eastern District

Robbery: A woman, 52, was waiting to purchase cigarettes in a store in the 2300 block of Harford Road about 9 p.m. Monday when a man tried to snatch $6 from her left hand. She resisted and the man bit her hand several times, grabbed the money and fled. She was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A camera, jewelry and a cable television box, all valued at nearly $10,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 5400 block of Bangert St.

Burglary: Video equipment, nearly $200, a videocassette recorder and a money order for $275, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen from a house in the 7900 block of Oakdale Road over the weekend.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Stereo equipment, a computer, a videocassette recorder, a fax machine and a foot massager, all valued at nearly $3,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 10200 block of Sunny Lake Place.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Welding equipment, locks and a hand truck, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen Saturday from storage containers parked in the 8800 block of Pulaski Highway. The incident was reported Tuesday.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A music amplifier and a guitar, all valued at $800, were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the first block of Dunhaven Place.

Arrest: A man sought on warrants charging him with first-degree murder and attempted murder was arrested yesterday in the 2700 block of Lauretta Ave. by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Greg Lamonn Wright, 25, of the 1600 block of N. Monroe St. was charged in the death of Rodney Jones, 43, of the 900 block of Newington Ave., and the attempted murder of two other men in an incident Feb. 13, 1998 in the 2300 block of Etting St. Police said robbery was the motive. Wright was being held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center.
