The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

9300 block: Indian Camp Road, Oakland Mills. Someone kicked in the front door of a vacant townhouse April 3. Nothing was taken.

9700 block: Clock Tower Lane, Kings Contrivance. Computer printers, a cable box, television and remote control were stolen from a home April 4.

9000 block: Snowden River Parkway, Owen Brown. A woman told police that a man yelled obscenities at her April 5 and then pulled down his pants and exposed himself.

5400 block: High Tide Court, Harper's Choice. Joey Jesse Leviner, 25, of the 5400 block of Cedar Lane in Columbia was charged with fourth-degree burglary Saturday, police said, after a man tried to break into a home on High Tide Court.

West Columbia

4900 block: Columbia Road, Dorsey's Search. Someone broke the window of an apartment April 4 and stole a digital video disc player.

6400 block: Onward Trail, River Hill. A garage was broken into April 4, and money, gloves and sunglasses were stolen from a car inside.

5400 block: Columbia Road, Dorsey's Search. Someone broke into an apartment Saturday. Nothing was taken.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

6300 block: Lawyers Hill Road, Elkridge. Someone broke glass in the front door of a home and entered April 4. Three televisions were stolen.

8200 block: Glenmar Road, Ellicott City. Jewelry and electronic equipment were stolen from a home April 4.

10300 block: Breconshire Road, Ellicott City. Someone broke into a garage Monday and stole a purse from an unlocked car.

9400 block: Old Frederick Road, Ellicott City. People climbed onto the roof of Mount Hebron High School on Sunday and broke into the computer room. Nothing was taken.


7400 block: Montevideo Road. Someone threw a rock through a window and ransacked the business April 4.

7100 block: Kit Kat Road. Five storage containers were broken into Sunday or Monday. Nothing was taken.


8500 block: Commercial Street, Savage. A window screen was cut, and someone broke into the house April 2. A jacket was stolen.

Western Howard

6400 block: Glittering Light Lane. Clarksville. Someone broke into a car April 4 and used a garage door opener to get inside the garage of a home. Nothing was taken.
