136-acre development of luxury homes opens in western Howard

Toll Brothers Inc., a builder of luxury homes, has unveiled Tridelphia Ridge.

The 136-acre single-family-home community in western Howard County features four- and five-bedroom houses with two- or three-car garages.

Customer-service award for Guaranteed Best Optical noted for customer service

Guaranteed Best Optical, an optometry and optician office in Dobbin Center, has received customer-service honors from Valstar Certified, a customer-service research company.

Clients from the office were picked at random and questioned by Valstar employees.

Malibu Grill & Tapas Bar opens in Town Center

Malibu Grill & Tapas Bar, specializing in Brazilian and Spanish food, has opened in Town Center.

The restaurant will offer 30 tapas, or light fare, selections.

The owner, Mike Cordero, also operates the Malibu Grill in Falls Church and Fairfax, Va.

Bid accepted from Norbel for former school in Elkridge

Norbel, a Baltimore-based school for children with learning and language disabilities, has been named the successful bidder for the former Elkridge Elementary School building, 6135 Old Baltimore Washington Blvd.
