Skinny: The Midshipmen's Mickey Jarboe and Maryland's Pat McGinnis might put on a goalkeeping clinic in a contest that figures to be low-scoring. This game could have heavy NCAA tournament bid implications, especially for the Midshipmen.

Ohio State (3-4) at No. 9 Johns Hopkins (2-3)

Skinny: Freshmen Adam Doneger and Bobby Benson have given the Blue Jays' attack new life and taken some pressure off senior Dan Denihan. Now, the defense has to take some pressure off of goalie Brian Carcaterra. The Buckeyes are loaded with Baltimore-bred talent.

UMBC (3-5) at Massachusetts (4-3)

Skinny: With their hopes of returning to the NCAA tournament having slipped away, the Retrievers are trying to build toward 2001 with a team that is slowly getting better. Junior goalie Steve Cusa is quietly putting together a solid season.

Mount St. Mary's (5-5) at Sacred Heart (4-5)

Site: Campus Field, Fairfield, Conn.

Skinny: The Mountaineers are averaging 15 goals per game in their 5-0 start against the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
