Organic veggies worth the price

* Item: Cascadian Farm Organic Veggie Bowls

* What you get: 1 serving

* Cost: $2.99

* Preparation time: 3 minutes to 5 minutes in microwave, 30 minutes to 35 minutes in oven

* Review: The adage "You get what you pay for" definitely fits the organic vegetarian products put out by Cascadian Farm of Rockport, Wash. I've never tasted frozen vegetables as fresh and flavorful as those in the company's new Veggie Bowl line. Cascade Veggies au Gratin featured broccoli, cauliflower and carrots in a light cheese sauce redolent of dill. Veggie Bowls aren't cheap, but they're more than worth their price if you savor the flavor of each combination. Find them in the freezer case near the vegetables or vegetarian entrees.
