Burn center inspires `After*Life' "After*Life," a drama about a burn survivor, will make its world premiere at the Theatre Project tomorrow.

Baltimore playwright PS Lorio -- whose short play "Always the Bridesmaid" was included in the anthology show "Queer Cafe '99" at the Theatre Project last season -- was inspired to write "After*Life" after touring the burn center at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center a year ago. Ron Gregory stars, under the direction of Tammara J. Wright. The cast also includes Cam Ailiff, Alissa Ford, Megan Wills and Willy Richardson, who is also assisting with mask work for the production. Original music is by Deanna Bogart.

Show times at the Theatre Project, 45 W. Preston St., are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays, through April 9. Tickets are $15. Call 410-752-8558.
