Corporate park offices in Columbia have been leased

Merritt Properties, owner and manager of office and industrial space, has announced the full leasing of its five-building Columbia Corporate Park office.

The park, at Route 175 and Stanford Boulevard, will house Sequoia Software Corp., Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies, Pagenet, Pepco Gas Services and the FDIC.

Merritt Properties designs, constructs, leases and manages all its properties.

Chambers join to schedule trade show in Clarksville

The Howard County and Baltimore-Washington Corridor chambers of commerce will sponsor "Business 2000," a business-to-business trade show, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 5 at Ten Oaks Ballroom, Clarksville.

Cash, in increments of $100, will be given away throughout the day. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with County Executive James N. Robey is scheduled at 9: 45 a.m.

Admission is free with business card.

A joint chamber networking breakfast will be held from 7: 30 a.m. to 9: 30 a.m. at River Hill Community Center. The cost is $25 for nonmembers and $18 for members with reservations.

Su Casa retail outlet opens in Ellicott City

The Big Iguana Co., which owns four retail outlets in the metropolitan area, opened its fifth store last week at 8098 Main St. in Ellicott City.

The store, Su Casa, specializes in Mexican-style furniture and accessories.

The company opened its first Su Casa in Fells Point last year.

Aaron Rents, United Way, Final Analysis sign leases

Trammell Crow Corp., a national commercial and industrial real estate firm, has announced several transactions in Howard County.

Aaron Rents Inc., a furniture sales and rental company, has leased space at Techwood in Baltimore Commons Business Park, 1353 Charwood Road, Columbia.

Final Analysis, a satellite manufacturer, has leased warehouse space at 9701 Philadelphia Court, Columbia.

The United Way of Central Maryland has leased industrial space in the Route 100 Industrial Park, 6620 Amberton Drive, Elkridge.
