Expos: Sent P Christian Parker to Yankees, completing trade for Hideki Irabu. Optioned P Guillermo Mota to Triple-A Ottawa. Reassigned P Matt Skrmetta.

Mets: Optioned P Bobby M. Jones and IF Jorge Toca to Triple-A Norfolk. Re-assigned OF Curtis Pride (Silver Spring) and P Dennis Springer to minor-league camp. Traded IF Jersen Perez to Blue Jays to keep rights to P Jim Mann.
