Astros: Acquired C Carlos Maldonado from Mariners for IF Carlos Hernandez, and assigned Maldonado to Double-A Round Rock. Reassigned IF Adam Everett to minor-league camp.

Devil Rays: Optioned P Jim Morris and P Jeff Sparks to Triple-A Durham. Reassigned P Matt White and P Bobby Seay to minor-league camp.

Rangers: Optioned OF David Hulse, C Cesar King, SS Kelly Dransfeldt, P Danny Kolb, P Doug Davis and P Ryan Glynn to Triple-A Oklahoma City P Joaquin Benoit to Double-A Tulsa.
