Two masked suspects in robbery at Eldersburg restaurant sought

State police are seeking two masked suspects who robbed an Eldersburg fast-food restaurant at gunpoint early Friday of an undisclosed amount of money.

Troopers said the suspects entered an unlocked door after business hours at the Burger King in the 3100 block of Liberty Road at 12: 45 a.m. Friday and demanded money.

The employees, who were not injured, said one suspect was armed with a handgun. They could not determine the suspects' race or gender. One suspect was about 6 feet tall and the other was about 5 feet 9 inches tall.

Fires

Sykesville: Firefighters from Sykesville, Gamber and West Friendship in Howard County responded at 9: 40 p.m. Sunday to a chimney fire in the 490 block of Hawks Ridge Lane. Units were out a half-hour.

Sykesville: Firefighters responded at 9: 10 a.m. Saturday to a brush fire on Chantilly Drive near Martz Road. Units were out 36 minutes.
