Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Burglary: A thief stole the front door to an apartment in the 6000 block of Moravia Park Drive and also took a television and a videocassette recorder. The latter two items were valued at nearly $300.

Stabbing: A man was talking to three other men in a house in the 500 block of Laurens St. about 10 p.m. Wednesday when one of them stabbed him in the back several times. The trio drove off in a car with unknown Pennsylvania tags. The victim was in critical condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Burglary/arrest: A woman, 24, was arrested Wednesday and charged with breaking into a house in the 1600 block of Druid Hill Ave. from the fire escape and stealing clothing valued at $200. She was arrested by an officer who spotted her near a rear window.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Rape: A North Baltimore woman told police she was raped early Wednesday in a room at Towson East Motel in the 1500 block of E. Joppa Road. She said several men and women had left the room after a party, and she was alone with a man who raped her and drove off in a car. She was treated at Greater Baltimore Medical Center's rape crisis center.

Cockeysville Precinct

Armed robbery: A gunman robbed the Royal Farm store in the 500 block of W. Seminary Ave. of more than $100 about 9: 20 p.m. Wednesday.

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a shotgun robbed the Rite Aid store in the 1400 block of York Road of drugs about 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Garrison Precinct

Arson try: Two Molotov cocktails with lighted wicks were placed next to a car in the 300 block of High Falcon Road early Wednesday, but they failed to explode because the wicks burned out. The side of the car was scorched, but damage was minor.

Burglary: Cash and jewelry of unknown value were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 800 block of Milford Mill Road in Pikesville.

Burglary: A shower stall valued at more than $200 was stolen Wednesday from a house under construction in the 8200 block of Township Drive in Owings Mills.
