Cameron Fawkes had six goals and two assists, as visiting Goucher handed York College its fourth straight loss, 24-6, in a Capital Athletic Conference men's lacrosse game yesterday.
The Gophers (1-4, 1-2) scored 10 unanswered goals to take a 12-2 lead midway through the third quarter. Phil Anthony added five goals and four assists.
York fell to 0-4 and 0-2.
No. 4 Georgetown 18, Butler 7: Andy Flick had three goals and three assists, as the host Hoyas (4-0) beat the Bulldogs (1-3).
Wesley 13, Villa Julie 12: Mike Biase scored five goals and Josh Wyatt added four, as the host Wolverines beat the Mustangs for a seventh straight time.
Greg Bardzik (Dulaney), Josh Zennaro (Towson) and Travis Williams (Dundalk) scored twice for Villa Julie.
Washington College 9, Hampden-Sydney 8: J. D. Radebaugh (Boys' Latin) scored three goals and Eric Kuehn (C. Milton Wright) had two to lift the Shoremen (1-2) over the host Tigers (3-2).
Women
Johns Hopkins 22, Mount St. Mary's 6: The Blue Jays (2-2) scored nine unanswered goals in the first half to break away from a 1-1 tie and roll over host Mount St. Mary's (0-2).
Salisbury State 24, Villa Julie 5: Jen Mezzadra scored six goals and Annie Sappington had five goals and two assists to power the Sea Gulls (5-0) past the visiting Mustangs (2-3).
