Baltimore City

Central District

Burglary: Computer equipment valued at more than $2,000 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 500 block of Cathedral St.

Purse snatch: A man robbed a woman, 41, of her purse containing $100 about 9 p.m. Monday in the first block of W. Centre St.

Burglary: A television with a 32-inch screen and a videocassette recorder, valued at more than $600, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 900 block of E. Preston St.

Burglary: A videocassette recorder valued at $260 was stolen Monday from a basement apartment in the first block of E. Biddle St.

Northwestern District

Burglary: Computer equipment and several compact discs, all of unknown value, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 6200 block of Pimlico Road.

Stolen vehicle: A 1997 Ford F-350 pickup truck with tags AZZ 383 was stolen Tuesday in the 4100 block of W. Northern Parkway.

Robbery: A man, 29, was in the 3700 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. about 3 a.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his pager.

Burglary: Stereo equipment and video games, all valued at more than $300, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2800 block of Gatehouse Drive.

Burglary: A camera and a boom-box radio, all valued at more than $100, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 4100 block of Kathland Ave.

Southern District

Theft: A woman's videocassette recorder and its remote control device, all valued at $200, were stolen Tuesday from her boyfriend's home in the 2700 block of Marbourne Ave. It was later learned the property was pawned.

Assault: A man struck his girlfriend, 16, with his fists and a rock and then shoved her head-first into a wall during an argument Tuesday in the 2000 block of Ramsay St. She refused medical treat- ment for minor injuries. No arrest had been made.

Southwestern District

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money was stolen Monday from a desk in the rectory at St. Joseph's Passionist Monastery Church in the 200 block of S. Morley St.

Northern District

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, telephone and 300 compact discs, all valued at $600, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the first block of W. 27th St.

Burglary: Lawn-care equipment valued at nearly $400 was stolen Tuesday from a garage in the 300 block of Woodbourne Ave.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Shooting: Police were seeking three men in the shooting Tuesday of a man, 22, in his apartment at Village of Tall Trees. Intruders forced their way into the apartment in the 1600 block of Rickenbacker Road about 12: 20 a.m., and one pulled a .45-caliber semiautomatic handgun and shot the victim twice in the back and once in the right side. Police recovered the gun from a trash container. The victim was in serious condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of cash was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 12500 block of Long Green Pike. A mountain bicycle was taken from a shed and tools from a 1996 Dodge Stratus in the driveway. Total value of the property was $600.

Burglary: Two bicycles, clothing, tools and a lacrosse stick, all valued at more than $800, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 14300 block of Carroll Ridge Court.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry and a videocassette recorder, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 20200 block of York Road in Parkton.

Burglary: Two bicycles and a pair of in-line skates, all valued at $270, were stolen Tuesday from a garage in the first block of Manor Knoll Court.

Burglary: Computer equipment valued at more than $1,500 was stolen Tuesday from an office in the 1300 block of York Road.
