Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Burglary: While a resident of the first block of S. Fulton Ave. was sleeping early yesterday, someone entered his third-floor apartment from the fire escape and removed $400 from a jacket. The victim heard a noise and turned on a light, and the intruder fled.

Burglary: Video games and their accessories, all valued at $300, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1600 block of Lemmon St. The thief entered through the front door.

Stolen car: A blue 1994 Ford Ranger XLT truck with tags 96D 576 was stolen Saturday in the 1500 block of Elmtree St.

Northeastern District

Stolen vehicle: A beige 1995 Toyota van with North Carolina tags JYJ 4366 was stolen in the 4700 block of Schley Ave. between March 3 and Friday.

Stolen vehicle: A red and white 2000 Honda MX motorbike with no tags was stolen Friday in the 4200 block of Nicholas Ave.

Eastern District

Theft: A man, 37, was in the 1500 block of Brentwood Ave. about 6 p.m. Saturday when he allowed a man he knows to ride his mountain bicycle. When the man did not return the bicycle, valued at nearly $300, the victim reported it stolen.

Theft from vehicle/arrest: Officer Shawn Smith was patrolling in the 1000 block of the Fallsway about 8: 25 p.m. Saturday when he noticed a man leaning into a parked 1992 Dodge Shadow and allegedly removing property. The man spotted Smith and ran, and the officer caught him after a brief foot chase and arrested him. Smith recovered a cellular phone, a radio and earphones that were taken from the car. Troy Harrison, 36, whose address was not available, was charged with theft from a vehicle and processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Robbery: A man, 18, was riding his mountain bicycle behind Fort Worthington Elementary School in the 2700 block of E. Oliver St. about 6 p.m. Saturday when another man pushed him to the ground and stole it. The bicycle was valued at nearly $200.

Northern District

Burglary: After cutting a rear window screen, someone entered a house Friday in the 2200 block of Maryland Ave. and stole 100 compact discs, two watches, a wallet and two packs of cigarettes, all valued at more than $3,000.

Stolen car: A 1990 Acura Legend with tags GXS 125 was stolen Saturday in the 1000 block of Woodson Road.

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone and a wallet with a small sum of money and identification cards, all valued at $200, were stolen Saturday from a 1999 Volvo parked in the 1900 block of Sulgrave Ave.

Stolen vehicle: A 1997 Ford truck with California tags CP57658 was stolen Feb. 21 in the 3900 block of Falls Road. The theft was reported Saturday.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a tavern in the 6900 block of Pulaski Highway through a side door early Saturday and stole at least 50 bottles of liquor and money from two cash registers. The loss was valued at nearly $800.

Parkville Precinct

Vandalism: Someone used a metal object to make a 2-foot-long scratch on the body of a 1999 Daewoo car parked Saturday in the first block of Colleton Court in the Belmont South community. The vandal caused $100 damage.

Theft: A man in his 50s stole $100 worth of seafood Saturday night from Metro food market at Perring Plaza Shopping Center in the 1900 block of E. Joppa Road.
