Police looking for information in store robbery

Investigators are hoping for leads in an armed robbery Wednesday at a Hampstead convenience store, state police in Westminster said yesterday.

According to two clerks at Hampstead County Crown Inc. on Hanover Pike near the Baltimore County line, a man armed with a knife and wearing a black ski mask entered the business at 8: 08 p.m.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, he ran out of the store and left the area in an unknown direction and manner.

The clerks were not injured, police said.
