December .

Do you have any advice for other book clubs?

In addition to reading book reviews and looking for new books, "search Amazon [Web site] -- or maybe watch C-Span's `Book Talk.' You want books that are discussable. You don't have to like the book for it to be discussable."

The Howard County LIVE section spotlights the activities of book clubs. If your club wants to participate, call Maureen Conners at 410-715-2821 or Jill Hudson Neal at 410-715-2885.
