Harlem wizardry

The Harlem Wizards, a cast of former NBA and college basketball stars, will play a team of Carroll County personalities on Saturday at Western Maryland College. The traveling basketball troupe is known for its on-court pranks and antics, similar to the Harlem Globetrotters' classic shtick. The audience will be pulled into the act during the game, and afterward players will sign autographs. The Wizards have been performing for the past 38 years to benefit organizations, schools and clubs.

The Harlem Wizards tip off at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Gill Gymnasium, Western Maryland College, Westminster. $8; $6 children 5-12; children 4 and under free. Call 410-848-1388.
