Howard County Food Inspection Report

The Howard County Health Department regularly inspects food establishments. Of 40 facilities inspected from Feb. 8 to 21, eight were cited for violations and corrected the problem immediately. The numbers correspond to descriptions below:

Cafe Nordstrom, 10300 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia (4).

Daisy, 17004 Frederick Road, Mount Airy (5).

Don Pablo's, 6191 Columbia Crossing Circle, Columbia (2).

Jerry's Subs & Pizza, 7190-A Cradlerock Way, Columbia (4).

Walker Blind Stand, 3430 Courthouse Drive, Ellicott City (2, 4).

McDonald's, 4396 Montgomery Road, Ellicott City (4).

Red Lobster, 9011 Snowden Square Drive, Columbia (7).

Royal Farm Store, 8680 Washington Blvd., Jessup (5).

1. Food obtained from approved sources.

2. Food protected from contamination, spoilage and adulteration.

3. Food workers: proper hand-washing; restricted if have infection or diarrhea.

4. Potentially hazardous foods properly cooled and refrigerated; adequate refrigeration equipment provided.

5. Potentially hazardous foods held to proper hot and cold temperatures; adequate equipment provided.

6. Potentially hazardous foods cooked and reheated properly; adequate equipment provided.

7. Potable hot and cold running water provided.

8. Sewage properly discharged.
