Two bridges on Route 198 to be closed for repairs

A pair of bridges on Route 198, one crossing the Little Patuxent River and the other a nearby overflow channel, will be closed to traffic for about a month for repair work, officials at Fort Meade have announced.

The bridges will be closed starting about April 3 to fill potholes in the bridge deck and to put in new concrete.

Traffic will be detoured via the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and Route 32, according to the Fort Meade Directorate of Public Works.
