Baltimore City

Western District

Rape: A man, 34, raped a teen-age girl Sunday in the bedroom of a house in the 1500 block of Edmondson Ave.

Robbery: A gunman took nearly $400 from Modem Junk & Salvage in the 1400 block of N. Fremont Ave. about 12: 30 p.m. Saturday.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone and a radar detector, all valued at more than $200, were stolen Sunday from a 1988 Mercedes-Benz station wagon parked in the 1000 block of N. Charles St.

Northwestern District

Stabbing: A man, 40, was stabbed at least twice in the back with a knife during an argument Sunday with a woman over a televison in their home in the 3700 block of Clarinth Road. He was in serious but stable condition yesterday at Sinai Hospital. The woman, 50, was charged in a warrant with aggravated assault.

Robbery: A man, 35, was in his car in the 4300 block of Park Heights Ave. about 11: 45 p.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed him of $50.

Burglary: Computer equipment valued at more than $1,000 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 3900 block of Dolfield Ave.

Eastern District

Theft from vehicle: Coats, gold and diamond earrings and cash, all valued at more than $800, were stolen Sunday from a car in the 1600 block of N. Chapel St.

Assault/arrest: Two men who were drinking beer in the 600 block of Gutman Ave. about 7 p.m. Sunday got into an argument and one struck the other on the head with a baseball bat. The victim, 37, was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. His assailant, 36, was charged with aggravated assault.

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone valued at more than $100 was stolen Sunday from a 1994 Mitsubishi Galant -- the property of a state correctional officer -- in the 500 block of E. Madison St.

Northern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Rainbow Shops, a clothing store in the 5600 block of The Alameda, of more than $200 Sunday.

Burglary: Cash and several pieces of jewelry, all valued at more than $14,000, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 2500 block of Edgecombe Circle North. The thief entered through a sliding glass door.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Cash and checks, all of unknown value, were removed Sunday from a locked cabinet in an office at the Fishing Shop in the 9000 block of Pulaski Highway.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, tape player and other property, all valued at nearly $800, were stolen between Wednesday and Thursday from a house in the first block of Traymore Road.

Arrest: Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Wallace Leon "Redds" Wood, 48, yesterday near his home in the 2600 block of E. Hoffman St. Wood was charged in a warrant with first-degree murder in the Jan. 15 stabbing of John Blanton, 45, in the 1200 block of N. Milton Ave. Detective Chris Beiling said Blanton, of the 1300 block of Pentwood Road, was killed during an argument over money. Wood is being held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center, pending a bail review hearing in District Court.
