Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Shooting: A woman, 52, was in the 3400 block of Round Road in Cherry Hill about 1 a.m. yesterday when an unknown person shot her twice in the back. She was in critical condition last night at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southeastern District

Theft/arrest: A Harford County man, 32, was arrested Saturday when he tried to leave the Home Depot store in the 6300 block of Eastern Ave. without paying for several faucet sets and their accessories, all valued at more than $500.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Stained-glass windows valued at $1,000 were stolen from a house in the 3700 block of Chisholm Ave. during the weekend.

Eastern District

Robbery: A man, 36, was sitting in his car in the 2100 block of Guilford Ave. about 10: 30 a.m. Saturday when a gunman robbed him of $23 and a cellular phone valued at $200. The gunman also struck the victim in the face.

Robbery/arrest: A man, 43, was in the 2100 block of Llewelyn Ave. about 2: 30 a.m. Saturday when two men knocked him to the ground and were taking money from his pockets when police saw them. Both suspects fled, but one was arrested in a nearby alley. Anthony Chambers, 20, of the 1400 block of N. Chester St. was charged with unarmed robbery and was processed at Central Booking and Intake Center. The second man was being sought.

Burglary: Several pieces of jewelry valued at more than $3,000 were stolen Thursday from a house in the 1600 block of E. 25th St.

Burglary: Someone entered the temporary office of Brown & Heim Contractors in the 400 block of N. Wolfe St. and stole several power tools valued at nearly $1,800 Tuesday or Wednesday. The burglary was reported Thursday.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Theft/arrest: A Rosedale man, 22, was arrested Saturday night when he tried to leave the Kmart store at North Plaza Mall, in the 8800 block of Waltham Woods Road, without paying for movie videos valued at nearly $162.

Burglary: A 20-inch bicycle valued at more than $200 was stolen Saturday from the back yard of a house in the 9600 block of Hickory Hurst Drive.
