Rose Beale scored 19 to lead Harford Christian over Broadfording, 50-45, in a Maryland Christian Schools State Tournament Division I semifinal last night at Washington Bible College in Lanham.

The Eagles (24-3) go for their third straight tournament title against Covenant Life in the 6: 30 final tomorrow night at Washington Bible College.

Covenant Life 42, Chapelgate 26: Kristen Lynott scored nine points but it wasn't enough for the for the Flames.

Calvary Baptist boys 59, Arlington Baptist 50: Jason Jones' three-pointer brought Arlington Baptist to within one with three minutes left, but the Knights (20-10) held on. Brian Neiswender (20 points) and Ken Case (17 points, 18 rebounds) paced Calvary (26-1) in a Division I semifinal.

Calvary advances to play Capitol Christian in the 2: 30 p.m. titlegame tomorrow at Washington Bible College.

Capitol Christian boys 62, Chapelgate 55: Steve Jestes and Matt Jansen had 12 points each for Chapelgate (14-12).
