Detectives identify man, 26, who was shot to death in Meade Village

Anne Arundel County homicide detectives identified yesterday the victim in Wednesday's fatal shooting in Meade Village as 26-year-old Dwayne Alvin Macklin.

Just before the shooting, about 12: 30 p.m., Macklin, of an unknown address, was seen meeting with a 15- to 20-year-old dark-skinned black man who has a medium build and was wearing a black coat, police said.

Police ask anyone with information to call the homicide unit at 410-222-3456 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888.
