An unidentified man believed to be in his mid-20s was found shot and dying yesterday afternoon on a Meade Village sidewalk, county police reported.
The victim was found about 12: 30 p.m. by officers investigating a call reporting a shooting, said Lt. Jeffrey A. Kelly, an Anne Arundel County police spokesman.
He was pronounced dead a short time later at North Arundel Hospital.
A motive for the killing had not been determined, Kelly said.
Police asked that anyone with information about the shooting call homicide detectives at 410-222-3456.
Police announced the arrest yesterday of a suspect in the February killing of a 27-year-old man in a Maryland City apartment.
David Boccabella, 18, of Gaithersburg was arrested on a murder warrant by Montgomery County police, Kelly said.
Police had charged Boccabella on Tuesday with murder in the slaying of Ahmad Jumal Tutwiler.
