Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Robbery: A woman, 29, got into an altercation with another woman about 12: 10 p.m. Sunday inside Darley Carryout in the 1100 block of Darley Ave. and was robbed of her jacket, wallet and a small sum of money, all valued at more than $70. The victim knew her assailant from previous encounters. A warrant was issued for the arrest of the assailant.

School burglary: Someone entered Tench Tilghman Elementary School in the 600 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. through a door Sunday and broke the glass windows of several classroom doors, damaged several classroom door locks and ransacked classrooms. No property was reported missing, but damage was estimated at nearly $500.

Burglary: A man, who wore a cap with the letters "FR" on the front, broke into a house in the 2300 block of Ashland Ave. Sunday and stole a videocassette recorder, valued at $200.

Burglary: Two 19-inch televisions and a videocassette recorder, all valued at nearly $500, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 1900 block of E. Preston St.

Theft: A man snatched a cellular phone from a woman, 25, Sunday in the 2400 block of E. Biddle St. The property was valued at more than $300.

Northern District

Theft: A 25-inch television and a videocassette recorder, all valued at nearly $1,100, were stolen from a house in the 2800 block of N. Howard St. overnight Saturday.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone valued at more than $100 was stolen Sunday from a 1994 Jeep Cherokee parked in the first block of W. Lanvale St. The thief broke a window.

Southwestern District

Robbery: Two men robbed a man, 46, at gunpoint of more than $40 and a set of keys about 5 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Poplar Grove St.

Stabbing: A man and woman were fighting in the 600 block of Charaway Road about 1 a.m. Sunday when a second man came to her defense and was stabbed in the lower back with a knife. The knife-wielding man fled and the victim was treated at an area hospital.

Shooting: A man shot another man in the left leg about 2 a.m. Sunday on the front porch of a house in the 3800 block of Cranston Ave. The victim, 36, was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment. A report on his condition was not available last night.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the first block of Bideford Court through a kitchen window between Feb. 19 and Sunday and stole computer equipment valued at nearly $2,000.

Theft from vehicle: Two stereo amplifiers, a tachometer and a radio, all valued at nearly $400, were stolen from a 1986 Chevrolet Iroc-Z Sunday in the first block of Joppawood Court. A car window, valued at more than $100, was broken to gain entry.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A pair of boots was stolen early Sunday from the maintenance room at Towson Town Center in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road. The intruder, who entered through a basement door, also damaged a coin-operated vending machine and removed an unknown number of snacks from it. The total value of the property stolen was nearly $100.
