Blue Jays: Signed P Gary Glover, P John Sneed, P John Bale, OF Andy Thompson and C John Phelps to one-year contracts.

Diamondbacks: Signed P Troy Brohawn, P Stephen Randolph and IF Danny Klassen to one-year contracts. Agreed to one-year contract with C Rod Barajas.

Rangers: Signed P Doug Davis, P Juan Moreno and C Cesar King to one-year contracts.

Delaware State: Suspended men's basketball coach Tony Sheals indefinitely after he was accused of getting into shoving match with leading scorer Stefan Malliet after game Feb. 21. Named Harry Thayer men's interim basketball coach.

North Carolina State: Named Curt Cignetti tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator.

Football

Browns: Agreed to $4.25 million, 2-year deal with DL Keith McKenzie, who had eight sacks as a pass-rushing specialist with Packers. Re-signed DB Ray Jackson.

Chiefs: Signed free-agent DT Steve Martin to five-year contract. Re-signed S Bracey Walker to four-year contract.

Dolphins: Re-signed C Tim Ruddy to five-year contract. Signed ex-Patriots G Heath Irwin to $7 million, 4-year deal.

Packers: Acquired DE David Bowens from Broncos for undisclosed draft pick. Signed DB Damian V. Johnson.

Panthers: Released DE Antonio Edwards.

Saints: Released RB Lamar Smith.

Seahawks: Signed OL Marcus Jenkins, P Brian Moorman and WR Reginald Swinton.

Vikings: Agreed to terms with LB Lemanski Hall, who had been with Cowboys.
