Churches to hold observance of World Day of Prayer
World Day of Prayer 2000 will be observed at 11 a.m. March 3 with an ecumenical service and a covered-dish luncheon at Linthicum United Methodist Church, 200 School Lane.

Other participating area churches are: St. John and Peace Lutheran Church; St. Christopher's Episcopal; St. John's, Brooklyn Heights, Curtis Bay and Linthicum Heights United Methodist; St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic; Linthicum Baptist; and Church of the Brethren.
Participants may bring a covered dish to share for the luncheon later in Linthicum United Methodist's Fellowship Hall. Those attending are asked to bring nonperishable food items and canned goods to be donated to the North County Emergency Outreach Network.
