Ryan Everett Calloway, 21, college student, athlete

Ryan Everett Calloway, a student at Concord College in Athens, W. Va., and a Millersville resident, died Monday of undetermined causes in his college dormitory. He was 21.

Mr. Calloway, a sophomore general studies student, attended Anne Arundel Community College from 1997 to 1998.

Born and raised in Millersville, Mr. Calloway was a 1996 graduate of Old Mill High School and had worked in food preparation for several years at Shoreline Seafood in Crofton.

He had been a member of the Gambrils/Odenton Recreational Council, where he enjoyed playing soccer, baseball and basketball.

Mr. Calloway liked listening to music and traveling.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Fields Roman Catholic Church, 1069 Cecil Ave. in Millersville, where a Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday.

He is survived by his parents, Hunter F. and Lynn S. Calloway of Millersville; a brother, Mark Callo- way of Millersville; his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Shipley of Bowie; and two nephews, Carson Calloway and Camden Calloway, both of Millersville.
