Teddy Bears' Picnic'

Gary Rosen will perform music from his latest children's recording, "Teddy Bears' Picnic," Sunday at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts. Musical styles range from tango and swing to classical and rock. Rosen, a children's music pioneer, has performed on the "Today" show, on "Live With Regis and Kathie Lee" and twice at the White House. A children's dance troupe also will perform, and children are encouraged to bring their own teddy bears.

Gary Rosen performs at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Gordon Center for Performing Arts, 3506 Gwynnbrook Ave., Owings Mills. $12; $8 ages 12 and under. Call 410-356-7469.

Frederick Douglass IV

Frederick Douglass IV, the great-great-grandson of abolitionist Frederick Douglass, will portray his famous ancestor Saturday at the USS Constellation. Douglass IV will elaborate on Frederick Douglass' early career working in the shipyards of Baltimore.
