St. Mary's eliminates Goucher in CAC opener

Felicia Harris had a game-high 19 points as St. Mary's defeated Goucher, 75-55, last night in the opening round of the women's Capital Athletic Conference tournament in St. Mary's City.

Top seed St. Mary's (22-3) will play host to Marymount in tomorrow's semifinals.

Salisbury State 76, York 56: Lisa Neyland had 27 points and 14 rebounds and Elisabeth Barfuss added 24 points, including the 1,000th of her career, as the Sea Gulls (14-11) beat the host Spartans (16-9) in a CAC first-round game. Salisbury will play at Galladuet in tomorrow's semifinals.
