Kyle Farmer

Oakland Mills, indoor track

The junior led his team to the Central Region Class 1A-2A track championship by winning the 55 meters in 6.3 seconds and the 300 meters in 36.4 seconds, and anchoring the 1,600 relay team to a first-place finish in 3 minutes, 42.9 seconds. Farmer, the All-Metro Performer of the Year in outdoor track last spring, is undefeated this winter in the 55 and 300. He was featured last week in Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd.

Seton Keough, basketball

The senior powered the third-ranked Gators to their third consecutive tournament title. King, a two-time All-Metro player, had 11 points, nine rebounds and two assists in a 42-24 win vs. McDonogh and eight points, eight rebounds and three assists in a 54-51 victory over then-No. 5 John Carroll. The guard then had 15 points in a 45-29 win over then-No. 15 Roland Park in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference title game.
