Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Shooting: Police were seeking a known suspect who shot a man Sunday afternoon in the 500 block of Annellen Road. Detective Anthony Vaeth said the victim was arguing with the suspect, who shot him in the right thigh, right hip and upper body. Vaeth said the victim drove himself to St. Agnes HealthCare, where he was in critical but stable condition yesterday.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: A laptop computer and a briefcase containing papers, all valued at $5,700, were stolen Sunday from a 1998 Ford Explorer parked in the 100 block of W. Clay St.

Burglary: Two doors, a stairway post and handrails were stolen from the Women's Housing Coalition in the first block of E. Franklin St. between Feb. 8 and yesterday. The building is being renovated.

Western District

Stabbing: A man was leaving his girlfriend's house in the 1700 block of W. Lexington St. about 7: 30 a.m. yesterday when another man approached, said, "Gotcha," pulled a 6-inch knife, and stabbed him in the left forearm. When police arrived, the victim pulled the knife from his forearm and gave it to them. He was treated for a 3-inch deep knife wound and other injuries at University of Maryland Medical Center.

Assault: After a man entered his home in the 200 block of N. Fulton Ave. about 5 p.m. Sunday, he realized that his girlfriend had been in bed with another man. Moments later, the other man bolted from a bedroom closet, but before he could reach the front door, the boyfriend struck him with a shovel, causing minor injuries. The boyfriend was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Robbery: Two teen-age males, one armed with a knife, robbed a man, 38, of $10 and a watch valued at $76 about 11 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Baker St.

Northeastern District

Theft from vehicle: Two television sets, four movie videos and six compact discs, all valued at more than $1,100, were stolen yesterday from a 1996 Chevrolet pickup truck in the 3800 block of Brendan Ave.

Eastern District

Shooting: Police were seeking a man in the shooting Friday of a male, 16, in the 1500 block of N. Washington St. The victim was talking to friends at East Federal and Washington streets about 9 p.m. when a gunman approached. The victim turned to flee and the gunman shot him in the back. He was in serious condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: Twenty-five compact discs valued at nearly $400 were stolen yesterday from a 1994 Hyundai parked in the 800 block of Battery Ave.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A man armed with a knife robbed Susse Chalet Inn on Philadelphia Court of more than $300 about 8 p.m. Saturday, cut a female employee on the left thumb and fled. The woman was not seriously injured.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Nearly $700 was stolen Sunday from three poker machines at Mother's Place, a tavern in the 500 block of S. Marlyn Ave.

Parkville Precinct

Theft: A stereo compact disc player was stolen Sunday from a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier parked in the 2900 block of Hiss Ave.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A laptop computer valued at more than $2,000 was stolen Sunday from a dorm room at Goucher College in the 1000 block of Dulaney Valley Road.
