Sandy Alomar (Indians): Trying to shake off another painful season.

Jim Edmonds (Angels): Still trade bait after injury-marred season.

Steve Trachsel (Devil Rays): Losingest pitcher in major leagues last year. Should get more support in Tampa Bay.

National League

Andres Galarraga (Braves): Comeback from cancer could be heartwarming story of 2000.

Denny Neagle (Reds): Should be big winner if arm is healthy.

Javy Lopez (Braves): If sound, should give Braves big offensive lift.

Darryl Kile (Cardinals): Thick air in St. Louis should put him back above .500.

Mark Wohlers (Reds): If he gets his head on straight, he can still pitch.

Dwight Gooden (Astros): Seems to be comeback candidate every year.
