Hatfield, Bohman take posts with Crown Books

Crown Books appointed John Hatfield vice president and chief financial officer and John Bohman vice president and general merchandising manager. As CFO, Hatfield is responsible for supervising the Landover-based bookstore chain's finance department as well as managing the information systems, loss prevention and real estate departments. Bohman is responsible for general merchandising.

Hatfield formerly was with the Center for Business Development, a Los Angeles management consulting firm where he was project manager.

With nearly 20 years in the book industry, Bohman joins Crown from Ingram Book Co., where he was vice president for sales.

Moffitt, Graham advance at Bethlehem Steel

Bethlehem Steel Corp. elected Augustine E. Moffitt Jr. executive vice president and chief administrative officer and William H. Graham senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.

Moffitt, a resident of Hanover Township, Pa., received a doctor of science degree from Harvard University. He served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service and was with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health before joining the company in 1973.

Graham, with Bethlethem since 1977, is a master of laws graduate of New York University and was a combat officer in Vietnam. He lives in Annandale, N.J.

Amerix names Norton senior vice president

Amerix Corp. appointed Matt Norton as senior vice president, operations control and policy. He holds an MBA from Incarnate Word College in San Antonio.

The Columbia service provider for the credit counseling industry also named three new vice presidents: Mark Rozman, work force management; Orlando Herrera, operations and reporting; and Anthony Cimo, strategy routing.

All four had been with First USA Bank in Austin, Texas. Rozman is responsible for capacity planning and call center analysis. He received his MBA degree from Villanova University and lives in Elkridge. Herrera, of Ellicott City, is a Texas A&M graduate with responsibility for call center management. Cimo is a University of Delaware graduate.
