Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Officer assaulted: Officer John Conner was assaulted by three men about 1 p.m. Monday after he ordered them to stop loitering in the 2600 block of E. Baltimore St. Conner, 25, a police officer since May, suffered possible head injuries. He was treated at Mercy Medical Center and released.

Central District

Stolen car: A 1985 Ford LTD Crown Victoria with tags GRY 853 was stolen in the 700 block of Lennox St. in Reservoir Hill between Friday and yesterday.

Eastern District

Carjacking: A man, 47, was leaving M & M Lounge in the 2300 block of E. Biddle St. about 9 p.m. Sunday when two men, one who implied he was armed, robbed him of his keys, $20 and his burgundy 1996 Nissan Pathfinder with tags M213272.

Burglary: Property valued at more than $3,500 was stolen Monday from a second-floor apartment in the 400 block of E. Lafayette Ave. Taken were stereo equipment, three suits, a leather jacket, gold jewelry, a cellular phone and other property.

Robbery try/cutting: A man, 30, was in the 1600 block of E. North Ave. about 2 p.m. Monday when two men, one with a 6-inch-long knife, demanded his money. The victim said he had none and was cut on both arms. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Stabbing: Police were seeking a man who stabbed a woman, 34, in the chest with a knife during an incident in a house in the 800 block of N. Milton Ave. about 3 a.m. Monday.

Burglary: Stereo equipment valued at $450 was stolen Monday from a house in the 1700 block of N. Caroline St.

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player and a battery, all valued at nearly $400, were stolen Sunday from a 1993 Infiniti 245 parked in the 1000 block of N. Lakewood Ave.

Theft: Two car batteries, valued at $300, were stolen from a city-owned 1999 Chevrolet truck parked Monday in the 3200 block of E. Madison St.

Southern District

Burglaries: A furnace, two dishwashers and a water heater, all valued at more than $1,800, were stolen over the weekend from two houses being renovated in the 3000 block of Southland Ave.

Stolen vehicle: A white 1997 Freightliner tractor with Massachusetts tags MA13672 owned by Clean Harbors Environmental Services Inc. was stolen between Friday and Monday in the 1900 block of Russell St.

Burglary: U. S. savings bonds valued at $500 and a life insurance policy were stolen Monday from a house in the 500 block of E. Jeffrey St.

Southwestern District

Burglary: A 19-inch-screen television and a videocassette recorder, all valued at more than $500, were stolen Monday from a house in the 3800 block of Clifton Ave.

Stolen car: A 1994 Chevrolet Beretta with Tennessee tags XVB 963 was stolen Monday in the 4800 block of Clifton Ave.

Stolen car: A 1994 Honda Accord with tags NKW 816 was stolen Monday in the 400 block of Old Orchard Road.

Stolen car: A 1990 Lincoln Continental with tags FWE 244 was stolen in the 1900 block of Grinnalds Ave. Monday.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary/shooting: A male resident of the 2200 block of Crossett Road in the Blue Grass Heights area of Rosedale was shot several times by a hooded intruder about 11: 40 a.m. yesterday. The victim, who was asleep when the attack began, staggered to the home of a neighbor, who called police. The victim, who is in his 20s, was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. His name was not released. Police said it appeared the victim's house was not randomly selected.

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: A woman was at Crosswind Place and Tradewind Circle about 6 p.m. Monday when a man armed with a knife robbed her of her purse containing personal property but no money. A short time later, police recovered the purse in a trash can.

Burglary: Someone entered the offices of Arthur Ball Jr. & Associates in the 200 block of International Circle through a door Saturday and stole $200. The burglary was reported Monday.

Burglary: A laptop computer valued at more than $3,000 was stolen from National Life of Vermont in the 11300 block of McCormick Road between Friday and Monday.

Burglary: A fax machine, combination television/videocassette recorder and a cart, all valued at nearly $500, were stolen from Quest Diagnostics in the 1200 block of York Road in Lutherville between Saturday and Monday.

Burglary: A laptop computer and its case, all valued at more than $2,600, were stolen from Tidewater Health Care in the first block of North Park Drive between Saturday and Monday.
