Sykesville: A Westminster resident told state police Wednesday that someone stole her 1989 Pontiac Grand Am from the lot outside Smith's Service Center on Liberty Road. The loss was estimated at $2,000.

Sykesville: A resident of White Rock Road told state police that someone kicked open her front door and stole personal items between 8: 30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday. Loss and damage were estimated at $250.


Sykesville: Firefighters from Sykesville, Gamber, Winfield and Lisbon and West Friendship from Howard County responded at 3: 59 a.m. Friday to a box alarm in the 7300 block of Second Ave. Units were out 32 minutes.
