Arundel police charge man with abduction

A Baltimore man was arrested by Anne Arundel County police early Friday and charged with abducting a former girlfriend on Thursday. Maryland State Police also charged the suspect -- Robert L. "June Bug" Sanders, 23, of Brooklyn -- with illegal possession of a firearm in a separate case.

Sanders is accused of abducting a former girlfriend about 3: 15 p.m. Thursday from the parking lot of a Crown gas station in the 5700 block of Ritchie Highway, police said.
